microPAT does not have fast pin burn, so a tag sinking to deeper than ~1700m will likely crush.

Generate a .taf file by choosing "Advanced", "Offline Mode", then "Export .taf file" in Tag Agent while a tag is plugged in.

Argos PTT Number | Uniquely identifies a transmitter for the Argos system. The ID consists of a decimal number and a hexadecimal (base 16) number. |
Collaborator | Someone with whom data can be shared. Sharing rules are uniquely set by owners for each collaborator. |
Data Owner | The Portal account that a deployment belongs to. Each deployment has only one owner. Owners can choose to share data with Collaborators. |
Data Portal | The cloud-based data management service offered by Wildlife Computers. |
Decoded Data | Data that has been decoded through Wildlife Computers Data Analysis Program (DAP). |
Deployment | The period when a tag is associated with an animal. |
Live KMZ | Customized and automatically updated KMZ files for displaying locations and tracks in Google Earth. |
Mote | Unattended ground based receiving station which continually logs telemetry data from satellite tags within range. |
Offline Mode | How Tag Portal is used to change tag settings without an internet connection. |
Pinger | A UHF radio tracking beacon used for tag recovery. |
Processed Data | Data that has undergone either Fastloc or GPE3 location processing. Processed data is deterministic. Each time you run the processor you could end up with a different result if there are changes to the model inputs, including the arrival of more data. |
Processing Run | The result of a Fastloc or GPE3 location processing job. Metadata inputs including animal speed, and known locations are uniquely set for each run. |
Raw Data | Data in original Argos file formats. Raw Data has not been decoded through Wildlife Computers Data Analysis program (DAP). |
Report File | Downloadable file of tag settings. |
.TAF File | Tag Agent Format file used to program tag settings offline. Tag setting information saved in .TAF format is passed between Tag Agent Software and Wildlife Computers Tag Portal. |
Tag Agent Software | The program used to connect a tag to the Tag Portal. |
Tag Log | History of a tag's communication with Tag Agent Software. |
Tagware | The software running on a tag. |
Tag Portal | The cloud-based service offered by Wildlife Computers for tag setup. |
USB Blue | The Wildlife Computers communication cable used to communicate with tags. |
